As part of the Placemaking in the City summer programme, our challenge involved connecting neighbors from Stek Oost to Anna's Tuin en Ruigte. After experiencing some difficulties with this initial challenge, our group decided to explore how we can involve more people from the neighbourhood and strengthen the neighbourhood overall. To accomplish this and align with the vision of Anna's Tuin en Ruigte, we propose four main ideas: develop new and more physical signage, enhance online publicity, host a knowledge workshop with Spark Village, and increase avenues of knowledge exchange by expanding plant species offerings and developing a resource exchange with nearby community gardens.

After multiple interviews with significant stakeholders and participating in site visits and brainstorm sessions, our team presented four main proposals for improved connection in Anna's Tuin en Ruigte including signage, publicity, knowledge workshops, and knowledge exchange.
